Dr Christopher John Grime
Christopher read medicine at The University of Liverpool, graduating in July 2005 with the Blair Bell Memorial prize for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He completed a paediatric themed foundation programme with St. Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust before accepting a training number in paediatrics with the Mersey Deanery. There he completed his basic general paediatric training before relocated to London for respiratory sub-speciality training in 2012. This entailed working at Royal Brompton Hospital, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Kings College Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
During sub-speciality training, Christopher took time out of programme as a research fellow in paediatric sleep medicine also at Royal Brompton Hospital and submitted his thesis on the relationship between obstructive sleep apnoea, asthma and atopic disease in children. In 2019 he will be awarded an MDRes from Imperial College London. Currently Chris is working as a fellow in Long-Term ventilation at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
