Chris Grime read medicine at The University of Liverpool. After five years of general paediatric training, he completed specialty respiratory medicine training in London working at Royal Brompton Hospital, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Kings College Hospital and finished his training at Great Ormond Street Hospital. During this time, he spent two years completed a MDRes with Imperial College London studying sleep disordered breathing and its association with asthma in children. He works as a consultant at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool in Paediatric respiratory medicine, Sleep and Long-Term ventilation. He was named WellChild Inspirational doctor of the year in 2021. In addition to his clinical role, Chris is also the trust Chief Clinical Information Officer.
