Claire Edmondson is a paediatric respiratory consultant working at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. She is a member of the Tracheal and Aerodigestive team. Her other areas of interest include cystic fibrosis, complex asthma and complex lymphatic anomalies.

She completed her PhD under Professor Jane Davies at Imperial College London. Her PhD, funded by CF trust and CF Canada, investigated the feasibility of remotely monitoring children and young people with CF. She is currently PI on the NIHR funded BEENO study exploring the Utility of point-of-care Blood Eosinophils and Exhaled Nitric Oxide as biomarkers in predicting childhood asthma attacks.
