Dr Helen Spencer is a Consultant in Respiratory and Transplant medicine, she is the Director of the Cardiothoracic Transplant Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital. She has been the Chair of the Association of Lung Transplant physicians and is a member of the Cardiothoracic Advisory Group. Her research interests include the use of phage therapy for Non-tuberculous mycobacterium and she is a member of Phage UK.
