Idan is a paediatric registrar at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He completed graduate-entry medicine at the University of Warwick, following a degree in Physics from the University of Manchester. He is currently undertaking a PhD at Imperial College London, examining the impact of CFTR modulator exposure on children exposed in utero or through breastfeeding. His research focuses on one of the emerging questions in cystic fibrosis care: how best to understand, and monitor children with fetal exposure to CFTR modulators. This includes developing international recommendations through a Delphi consensus study and leading the paediatric arm of the prospective MATRIARCH-CF cohort study (NCT06797206).
