Neil trained in Edinburgh, Leicester, Glasgow and Perth, Western Australia and has been Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine in Glasgow since 1996 with particular clinical interests in sleep breathing problems and non-invasive respiratory support. Neil has been heavily involved in postgraduate training at a local and national level and is a past Chair of the RCPCH CSAC. He thoroughly enjoyed being BPRS Secretary/Treasurer for six years. Out of work he loves music and over the last few years has been combining this with his knowledge of respiratory physiology to learn to play the tenor saxophone!
