Simon is a General Paediatrician with an interest in systems of care to maximise patient safety. Simon course directs the KCL MSc in Advanced Paediatrics, which is now entering its fifth year. He also co-leads for Simulation training at Kings College Hospital.

His PhD was on the long term consequences of bronchiolitis on prematurely born infants and he has over 30 publications. Simon is the South Thames Paediatric Training Programme Director lead for ST 1-5 and aims to improve the Paediatric trainee experience across South Thames and to maximise the GP training opportunities in South London.
