Dr. Uddhav Vaghela is a surgeon, serial entrepreneur and AI researcher who has worked across Imperial College London, UCL and Cambridge, translating AI and XR technologies to clinical practice in collaboration with Microsoft, NVIDIA and AWS.

He co-founded and exited VUI Diagnostics, an award-winning eye health startup, and has raised over £1.3M in UKRI/EPSRC and NIHR funding to develop explainable AI for clinical decision support. His research has spun out of Imperial as The Evidence Company, which builds AI care companions for healthcare - now partnered with leading private and NHS providers across the UK and US.
