Miss Gemma Marsh

Gemma graduated in 2005 from Brunel University with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. She worked at Royal Brompton Hospital since 2005 initially within adult cardiorespiratory (CF, Respiratory Medicine, Critical Care) before specialising in Paediatrics from 2010 onwards. Working initially in cardiorespiratory PICU, she supported overseas MDT trips to initiate paediatric NIV services in Ghana, then in 2012 was part of the MDT setting up the paediatric PCD (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia) service at Royal Brompton as part of a new national clinical management network taking a special interest in sinonasal management.

After relocating in 2021, Gemma currently works at Dorset County Hospital as Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapist & Independent Non-Medical Prescriber covering acute & community mixed caseload of NMD, CF, LTV and respiratory outpatient service across West Dorset. She has an honorary contract with Royal Brompton Hospital and continues to work in PCD MDT clinics. Gemma is part of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP) Specialist Respiratory Committee since 2022.
