Ms Kelly Knox

Kelly Knox is a children’s nurse with over 26 years of experience, during which she has built a rewarding career caring for children and their families. She has worked in a variety of hospital settings, all within general paediatrics, gaining a vast amount of clinical experience and developing a strong and compassionate approach to care. Throughout her career, Kelly has supported children and young people with a wide variety of acute and long term conditions.

Working in different settings has helped her become adaptable and confident in her practice, while also reinforcing the importance of listening, gaining trust, and treating each child and young person as an individual. Family centred care has always been a priority in her work, and she values the relationships formed with patients, parents, and colleagues over the years. For the past five years, Kelly has worked as a Cystic Fibrosis Specialist Nurse, a role she finds both challenging and fulfilling. In this role, she supports children, young people and their families living with cystic fibrosis, providing specialist clinical care alongside education, advice, and emotional support. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to help ensure coordinated, holistic care to support families as they manage the ongoing demands of a lifelong condition.

Kelly is proud of her nursing career and remains passionate about paediatric care. Her work continues to be guided by commitment, experience, and a genuine dedication to improving the lives of the children and families she supports.
