Louise Fleming is a Professor of Practice in paediatric respiratory medicine, Imperial College, London. She is a Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at the Royal Brompton hospital and Imperial College Healthcare Trust and Clinical Lead for Paediatric Respiratory medicine and Sleep, West London Childrens’ Healthcare.

She is a member of the GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma) Science Committee, founding member of the ERS supported Clinical Research Collaboration, SPACE (Severe Paediatric Asthma Collaboration in Europe), member of the NHS England Children and Young People’s asthma oversight group (chair of the severe asthma workstream) and Chair of the London Paediatric Severe Asthma Group, and Member of the London Asthma Leadership and Implementation Group for Children and Young People (LALIG).

Her research interests include monitoring asthma, with a focus on adherence and clinical trials of therapeutic approaches, including use of anti-inflammatory relievers in young children. Clinically she looks after children with a wide range of respiratory problems.
