Professor Jodi Mindell

Jodi is a Professor of Psychology and Director of Graduate Psychology at Saint Joseph’s University and the Associate Director of the Sleep Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is also an adjunct Professor of Pediatrics (Psychology) at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Prof. Mindell is the Chair of the Pediatric Sleep Council and an associate member of the Asia Pacific Paediatric Sleep Alliance. She has written extensively on pediatric sleep disorders with over 100 publications and over 300 presentations at national and international conferences. Prof. Mindell is also the author or co-author of 3 books including A Clinical Guide to Pediatric Sleep: Diagnosis and Management of Sleep Problems (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins) and Sleeping Through the Night: How Infants, Toddlers, and their Parents Can Get a Good Night’s Sleep (HarperCollins). Prof. Mindell has served as an associate editor for the journal Sleep and on the editorial board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. She has been on the Board of Directors of the National Sleep Foundation and the Sleep Research Society. Prof. Mindell is a recipient of the Mary A. Carskadon Outstanding Educator Award of the Sleep Research Society.
